On Saturday, August 5, 2017, Phillipsburg football players and coaching staff members participated in the "Carry the Fallen"event to help raise awareness towards PTSD. The approximately 8-mile hike started at 10 a.m. and returned to the pavilion around 1 p.m. for a picnic with goods donated by local restaurants and businesses. Participants ruck-march while carrying weight that symbolizes the burden that many veterans carry after war or through PTSD. The purpose of Carry The Fallen is to reduce veteran suicide -- something that affects an average of 22 veterans and their families each day. Phillipsburg football is proud to support our troops.
