There are 20 former Stateliners currently participating in football at various NCAA levels. We could not be prouder of these student-athletes and the accomplishments they received this year. They are a part of our school's rich history of student-athletes who are succeeding at the next level. CLASS OF 2017 [Current Seniors]
Robin Custodio returned for an additional year at Misericordia University where he has played RB for the Cougars rushing 57-195 yards and 1 touchdown. His teammate at Misericordia, Anthony Rand-Willever has excelled on the defensive side of the ball at LB, finishing 4th in tackles with 48 T, 6 TFL, and 1.5 Sacks. Michael Fitz a 3 year starter at DE for Wilkes University has accumulated 29 T, 7 TFL and 5 Sacks for the Colonels.
CLASS OF 2018 [Current Juniors]
TE/P Aaron Brown totaled of 17 receptions for 233 yards and 1 TD for the Moravian Greyhounds and averaged 37 yards on 41 punts this season. WR Randolph Custodio at Misericordia has had to take time off this season to recovery from injuries suffered in the Spring. We wish him a speedy recovery. DE Tyler Conlon continues to emerge as a leader on the DL at Lebanon Valley College where he tallied 9 T, 1.5 TFL, and 1.5 Sacks for the Dutchmen. At Delaware Valley, DL Elijah DeVore helped his Aggies stay atop their MAC division with a record of 8-2 as they prepare to play Muhlenberg in the Centennial MacBowl Series this weekend.
CLASS OF 2019 [Current Sophomores]
LB Alex Annan exploded onto the scene at Bloomsburg University tallying 45 T (4th on the team), 4.5 TFL, 1 FF, and 2 FR for the Huskies. WR Montell Britton has 1-12 yards for the University of Cal PA Vulcans who won the PSAC Championship and will be participating in the NCA playoffs this weekend. OL Caleb Calabro has participated in all 10 contests for the University of Southern Virginia. Ursinus College WR, Jake Clifford had 15-200 receiving an average of 13.3 YPC for the Grizzlies. LS Michael Curry started 7 games at the University of Rhode Island where he recorded 1 T and 1 FR vs. Kansas from his special team position. WR Anthony Guarino had to take a medical redshirt this season to recover from shoulder surgery, we are all hopeful he will make a strong comeback this spring. LB Taji Lowe playing for University of Maine began the season excelling on special teams for the Black Bears and has now found himself in their defensive rotation tallying 22 tackles. Maine is preparing to play their final regular season game this weekend vs. New Hampshire where if they win can find themselves in a tie for 2nd place in the CAA.
CLASS OF 2020 [Current Freshman]
OL Zach Cyphers plays for Muhlenberg College who finished 9-1 on the season and host Delware Valley this weekend in the Centennial Mac Bowl series. WR Jordan Jackson played in 6 games for the Kean University Cougars who finished 6-4 and will be playing ion the ECAC Clayton Champion Bowl this weekend. Jim Marinelli has participated in 5 game on the OL for the Ursinus College Grizzlies. WR Manny Romero had 2-9 rushing, 3-39 receiving, and returned 2-16 PR in one game played for Norwich University. LB Yusef Shelton continues to support his program at Albright College that finished 8-2 and host Franklin & Marshall in the Centennial Mac Bowl Series. DL Matthew Yanes rotated regularly through 9 games for Bentley University recording 8 T, 1 TFL for the Falcons.
